Receiving Ambassador of India: MIFER UM received Ambassador of India

Dr. Kan Zaw, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations received the Ambassador of India to Myanmar Mr. Abhay Thakur at the Ministry, Nay Pyi Taw in the morning of 7th April.

During the courtesy call, they discussed on the matters of dispatching Indian Technical Team for Demolition to Nay Pyi Taw, providing prefabricated offices and request for assistances from The Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) for the earthquake disaster relief and recovery efforts for the affected people in Myanmar on March 28, 2025.

The Deputy Minister and senior officials from the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations and representatives from the Embassy of India were also present at the meeting.
