Rail Transportation: Repair and reconstruction of rail stations

Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Transport and Communication General Mya Tun Oo inspected the upgrade and repair works of rail roads as well as the damages of rail stations on April 22nd.

They took a train ride from Nay Pyi Taw Railway Station, and observed the stations along the route to Taungoo Station. During the inspection, the General instructed for clearing of collapsed stations while expediting the repair works and reconstruction of the stations through designated procedures. During the tour, the Deputy Prime Minister met with the staff families and gave words of encouragement.
