Rabies Prevention: CM participates in vaccination campaign in Mawlamyaing

Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein took part in a rabies prevention in humans campaign.

During the event in Mawlamyaing, the Chief Minister said that special attention is being paid to ensure that all urban and rural residents can get complete health care with full quality in the state.

Even today, there is no medical treatment that can cure rabies once the symptoms have started. Healthcare have been working to prevent rabies by giving treatment, injecting vaccines and raising awareness, he added.

Also, head of the Mon State’s department of the public health explained plans for rabies prevention vaccination. And, the Chief Minister viewed rabies prevention vaccination process for members of the Sangha and locals.
