Quarantine In Mon State: People Who Had Contact With A Confirmed Patient Put Under Quarantine

A total of 57 people including 43 people under the Community-Based Facility Quarantine in Mawlamyaing Mon State who had contact with Case 428 Covid-19 patient and 14 departmental officials, police force and fire brigade members and Bo Bo Win Emergency Rescue Team members who are cooperating in the rescue measures have been conducted medical tests.

According to the announcement of the Department of Public Health (Mawlamyaing) on 26th August, out of 10 quarantined people who came back from Rakhine State, only one patient case 482 was found with positive.

6 family members of Case 428 patient were also tested negative for the 1st time. Case 428 patient, an educational staff, is from Mawlamyaing and returned from Rakhine State.

The staffs who had contact with the confirmed patient have been quarantined, according to Mon State Information and Public Relations Department.
