Pyithu Hluttaw Session: 3rd Pyithu Hluttaw’s 2nd day of 3rd regular session held

The second day of the third regular session of the Third Pyithu Hluttaw was held at 10 a.m. on September 22 at the Pyithu Hluttaw Meeting Hall in Nay Pyi Taw, with 335 of the 351 eligible Hluttaw representatives in attendance.

The question-and-answer session commenced with the questions including U San Maung of the Bogale Constituency asked when a fertilizer factory could be constructed in Ayeyawady Region and in which financial year it would be undertaken. U Win Swe (a.k.a. U Win Shwe) of the Labutta Constituency asked whether there were plans to facilitate the convenient purchase and use of fuel for agricultural operations and vessels in Labutta Township.

U Aung Zaw Moe of the Muse Constituency asked when import licences would begin to be issued for the importation of fuel from China so that fuel could be purchased and used at lower prices in Muse, and, if there were no such plans, why. U Naing Win of the Danubyu Constituency asked whether the road connecting Phan Khar Kwin, Kywe Talin and Pa Nyaung Kone villages in Danubyu Township could be upgraded and improved as a gravel road.

U Kyaw Than of the Manaung Constituency asked in which financial year the remaining gravel road from Sin Na Chaung Village to Doe Tan Village in Manaung Township would be upgraded to a concrete road. U Ya Ni of the Putao Constituency asked whether there were plans to upgrade the road connecting Pan Hlaing Ward and Putaung Village in Putao Township to a concrete road.

U Soe Win of the Mohnyin Constituency asked in which financial year a reinforced-concrete bridge would be constructed across the Nant Yin Chaung on the Mohnyin-Nyaung Kaing-Katu Road in Mohnyin Township. A total of 11 questions were raised during the session. Deputy Minister for Energy U Kyaw Naing Win, Deputy Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Thike Soe, and Deputy Minister for Sports Affairs U Nyi Nyi responded to the questions.
