Pyithu Hluttaw Announcement: Pyithu Hluttaw Announcement 1/2026 issued

The Pyithu Hluttaw of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar issued an Announcement No. 1/2026 on February 23, 2026.

The Announcement states that in accordance with the provisions under Section 424, Section 123, Section 124 (b) of the Constitution of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Section 37 of the Pyithu Hluttaw Law 2012, and By-law 3 of the Pyithu Hluttaw By-laws 2013, the Speaker of the Pyithu Hlutta hereby announces the convening of the First Regular Session of the Third Pyithu Hluttaw, to commence at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, (March 16, 2026), in Nay Pyi Taw.
