Pwe Kauk Waterfall: Cable car service temporarily closed for maintenance

Regarding the Pwe Kauk Waterfall Resort in Pyin Oo Lwin of Mandalay Region, the Sky Cable car service has been temporarily closed – it’s closed for 3 days from the 28th to the 30th of March for repair and maintenance works.

The works has to be done every 388 hours, it’s learnt. At the Pwe Kauk Waterfall Resort, there are 36 Sky Cable cars with the capacity to carry four passengers. It will take 24 minutes for the whole round visit to the Pwe Kauk Waterfall by a Sky Cable car. This Resort with the Glass Bridge, playground and Elephants camp attracts about 2,000 visitors on Public holidays. It’s reported that the Pwe Kauk Waterfall Resort will celebrate the Thingyan Festival with an unplugged band.
