





The Ministry of Electric Power held a ceremony putting 120,000 fingerlings and caring and nurturing cultivated teakwood trees, rice crops, and various fruit and vegetable plants to ensure their growth and sustainability. The ceremony was attended by Union Minister U Nyan Tun, Deputy Minister U Aye Kyaw, Directors General, Heads of Departments, officials and staff.
First, the ceremony of putting fish seeds took place, where the Union Minister and Deputy Minister put the fish seeds into a creek with one side closing near the seasonal crop fields. Directors General, senior officials, and staff who attended the event also took part in putting the fish seeds simultaneously.
After that, the Union Minister and responsible officials inspected the agricultural fields within the Central Training School compound. These fields have been developed to cultivate crops for the welfare of staff, ensuring their well-being. They reviewed the successful growth of the rice fields and various seasonal crops, fruit trees, and ornamental plants.
Additionally, they inspected the ongoing care of teakwood trees and other perennial ornamental plants that were planted in the first, second, and third rounds of the 2024 rainy season planting campaign. The inspection also included checking the condition of the fields, ensuring weed removal, soil improvement, and overall maintenance for the sustained growth and success of the plants.
