Putin welcomes Belarus president Lukashenko to Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin has met Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on Sunday. A video posted on Sunday by the Lukashenko's press service showed the two longtime leaders arriving at Saint Petersburg's Konstantinovsky palace together ahead of scheduled talks.

The two leaders are set to discuss "security issues" and "joint opposition to illegal sanctions pressure", according to Lukashenko's press service.
