Putin thanks citizens for their support

Russian President Vladimir Putin thanked citizens for their support for the country's political and economic course.

In a video address released on Thursday, Putin, who earlier this week secured a fifth term as leader said that the elections showed that Russia today is “one big friendly family”. He added that the government and citizens are walking together along the historical path and support for the political and economic course of the country are making Russia even stronger and more independent.
