Putin says Russia to up gas deliveries to Uzbekistan

Russian President Vladimir Putin declared that Moscow would significantly boost gas deliveries to the nation, during a visit to Uzbekistan.

In a meeting with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Tashkent, Putin disclosed plans to increase gas volumes to Uzbekistan to 11 billion cubic meters next year, affirming ongoing efforts towards this goal. Additionally, Putin disclosed the signing of a protocol between Russia and Uzbekistan, facilitating the construction of "low-power nuclear power plants" in Uzbekistan with the participation of Russian firm Rosatom.
