Putin meets Kyrgyz president in Moscow

Russian President Vladimir Putin welcomed his Kyrgyz counterpart for talks in Moscow on Monday ahead of Victory Day.

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov is one of the few leaders who will attend the famed parade in Moscow’s Red Square to celebrate the 78th anniversary of Germany's capitulation in World War II. At the guests' loge, Zhaparov will be joined by Armenia's Prime Minister, Kazakhstan's leader, and Tajik President.
