Putin hosts head of Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council at the Kremlin

Russian President Vladimir Putin hosts head of Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council Rashad al-Alimi for bilateral talks in Moscow.

Putin invites al-Alimi for the first Russia-Arab world summit which the Kremlin hopes to hold in Moscow in October. Putin said that the vast majority of friends in the Arab world have accepted the invitation. Moreover, Russia is working with the Arab League and the preparations for this summit are proceeding steadily. Putin expressed his hope that it will benefit the development of relations with the friends in the Arab world.
