Putin addresses SCO summit in Uzbekistan

Russian President Vladimir Putin offered to hand over Russian fertilizers to developing countries for free if sanctions are lifted at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Uzbekistan on Friday.

Putin also voiced approval for the early inclusion of Iran in the SCO. "We are convinced that Iran's full-fledged participation will have a positive impact on the organization's work, as this country plays an important role in the Eurasian region and in the whole world," he said adding that Russia also supports the decision for Belarus to be accepted in the SCO.
