Public Meeting: SAC Member meets with locals in Loikaw Tsp.

Member of the State Administration Council Porel Aung Thein met with locals in Loikaw Township of Kayah State.

In this public meeting, the SAC Member said that the government is paying special attention to the balanced development of urban and rural. He pointed out that the State Administration Council is accelerating the comprehensive development of the national interest and reducing poverty. All the people should work together to improve the rule of law.

The education of the youth is important to obtain human resources that will be relied upon for the future of the country. He urged all citizens to participate in the successful holding of a free and fair multi-party democratic general election ensuring that all eligible voters can vote.

And, Kayah State Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin presented Kayah State’s sectoral performance and regional development. The meeting continued with further discussions on road and infrastructures, housing development, basic food price stability and distribution issues and regional security and peace.
