






Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin addressed the 43rd public health supervision level (1) training graduation ceremony at the University of Community Health (Magway). This ceremony began with a stage performance and continued with the Chief Minister, stressing that the graduates have to provide health care services in rural areas.
Disease prevention must be implemented effectively and they must work together with other health workers to be successful. The graduates have to take special responsibility for the health of the rural people, who are 70 percent of the country's population. Taking care of the public's health is the main way to assist the development of the nation.
The government always emphasizes the health of the public. Also, the Magway Region Government is also emphasizing on public health issues and rural development activities, and is providing necessary assistance and support, the Chief Minister added.
And, rector of the University of Community Health (Magway) explained the public health supervision level (1) training. In this ceremony, awards were given to outstanding field training teams and cash awards were also presented to outstanding graduates. It’s learnt that the public health supervision level (1) training has been opened since 1975 and a total of 3,083 persons have been trained up to 2023.
