The Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein delivered a opening speech at the opening ceremony of Public Finance Management Special Training Course (Batch-6) held at Public Finance Management Training School under the Budget Department in Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on 21st November.
In his opening remark, the Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister said that The development of a country in politic, economic and social sectors much depends on the strength of the public financial management.
It’s needed to nurture the competent civil service personnel for having strong public financial management system. The field of the public financial management is relatively wide with the processes such as carrying out to increase the financial resources, systematic allocation of expenditure and the monitoring whether the budget allocations are used effectively or not.
In the public financial management training school, the basic training, special short training and special refresher training course are being opened. The trainees are needed to study the subject of the public financial management thoroughly and apply at the work undertakings.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr. Kan Zaw, Union Auditor General Dr. Khin Naing Oo, Deputy ministers, Deputy auditor General and senior officials.
The training is attended by 27 trainees who are Director and Deputy Director level an the training will take place for 5 weeks.
