Provision of Assistance: Yangon Region Gov’t provides assistance to flood victims

Flooding occurred in some villages of Taikkyi Township due to the heavy rainfall in the past few days.

In the morning on the 30th of July, Yangon Region Chief Minster U Soe Thein, Ethnic Affairs Minister and concerned officials provided necessary items for the victims in those flood-hit areas.

First, the Chief Minister and party paid homage to the presiding Sayadaw of GoThitaYon Monastery in Phalon Buta village-tract in Taikkyi Township and offered instant noodles and water bottles.

Then, they provided the same items for the flood affected households from 6 villages in Phalon Buta village-tract and 3 villages in Phalon Kan Kone village-tract and gave words of encouragement.
