Provision of Aid: Aid to temporarily displaced persons in Kachin State

Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan provided aid to temporarily displaced persons taking shelter in NaungChain Village.

There, in the meeting with the temporarily displaced persons, the Chief Minister pledged to fulfill the requirements as the rainy and school season are coming. And, the temporarily displaced persons presented a series of matters including the requirements and the Chief Minister coordinated with concerned officials for the presented matters.

Also, the Chief Minister pledged to provide rice and 5.5 million Kyats and snacks were provided for 1,613. temporarily displaced persons. The Chief Minister also visited temporary relief camps in the compounds of the NaungChain Baptist Church and the LawWaw Baptist Church and provided 6.5 million Kyats and foods for the temporarily displaced persons.
