Providing rice and oil: Taninthayi CM provided rice and oil to the schools

The ceremony of providing rice and cooking oil to the ethnic philanthropic education schools in Dawei District with the Taninthayi Region Government Fund for 2023-2024 academic year was held at the Dawei City Hall in the morning on September 14.

At the occasion, the Chief Minister U Myat Ko said the State Administration Council has set and is implementing the education related objective: the comprehensive education system that addresses all segments of society and nurturing the youth who are equipped with five strengths. The region government together with the region and ministers and officials frequently takes ground inspection tour for the education, health, socio-economic and regional development and fulfilled the requirements. 

For the all-round development of the ethnic people in the education, health, economic, road transportation and socio-economic status are being implemented and fulfilled the requirements with the region government’s fund etc.

Next, the region government provided 170 bags of rice and 356.5 Visses of edible oil for 13 philanthropic education schools in the Dawei District and the teacher U Nyan Win on behalf of the school extended words of thanks. Then, the Chief Minister cordially greeted the attendee national races.

Tanintharyi Region Government also provided 357 bags of rice and 872 visses of cooking oil for 20 philanthropic schools in Myeik District and 66 bags of rice and 160.5 visses of oil for one philanthropic school in Kawt Thoung District.
