Providing rice and foodstuff: MoBA provided rice and foodstuff to the monasteries

The Progress of Border areas and National Races Development Department under the Ministry of Border Affairs is providing rice, cooking oil, chickpea etc to the monasteries in the region of Shan State (East) for the monks not to face difficulty in the availability of food during the period of Buddhist Lent.

In the morning on October 4, the deputy director U Soe Lwin from the Mong Sat District Development Supervisory Office and district religious head officer U Myo Min Latt provided rice, cooking oil, chickpea and offertories to the ThabbinNyu  Monastic Education School in Kya Dal Ward of Mong Sat Township, it’s reported.
