





Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Tin Oo Lwin accompanied by deputy ministers and concerned officials on Thursday donated robes and offertories to members of sangha and nuns who are displaced the Monasteries and nunnery schools in Zeyathiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw Council Area due to severe flood.
Likewise, the Union Minister and party donated rice, edible oil, foodstuff, Buddha images and cash assistance to the flood affected victims who at the relief camps opened at the monasteries and comforted them.
At the Department of Traditional Medicine in 100-Bed Traditional Medicine Hospital, Pobbathiri Township, the Union Minister and party oversaw the provision of health care services to the flood victims and extended words of encouragement.
On the 13th, 14th and 19th of September, 18.8 million kyats cash donation, 564 robes, 486 Buddha images, rice, edible oil, foodstuff, toothpaste, tooth brush, towels, detergent powder have been donated to total of 94 monasteries and nunneries in Nay Pyi Taw.
