Providing Household Items: MoALI UM provided household items to staff families

Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Min Naung attended the event of providing relief items for the flood affected personnel and families of staff housing in the compound of Sugar Mill in Pyinmana Township in 13th November.

At the event, the Union Minister clarified regarding the providing of assistances and gave words of encouragement to the families for the rehabilitation to be better than the original status. Then, the Union Minister and Deputy Minister provided household items worth 51.156 million Kysts for 252 flood affected households and cordially greeted them.

Due to flooding in the second week of September, sugar factories, storage facilities, and the staff housing within the Pyinmana Sugar Mill compound were covered in mud and silt. For 252 flood-affected households, each household received support from the National Disaster Management Fund, including one 200-liter water tank, one large storage box, one large round tub, and two water containers, it’s reported.
