Providing foodstuff in fair price: Mon State CM inspected basic foodstuff sale

In accordance with the guidance of the Mon State government, Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein, accompanied by State Government Ministers and officials viewed around the sales of basic foodstuff at affordable prices at Mawlamyaing University on Monday.
The basic foodstuff including rice, edible oil, meat, fish, egg and vegetables were sold to academic staff with reasonable prices, ensuring to support the living of the academic staff as much as possible.
The Chief Minister said that the manufacturers are needed to sell products at the most reasonable prices for the public, to balance the supply and demand and to enhance the implementation of agriculture, livestock and manufacturing industry and coordinated the needs.
Upon the arrival at ShweZiWa industry in the compound of Technological University, an official from the Department of Biotechnology gave a briefing on the fertilizer production process. The Chief Minister stressed that bio-fertilizers plays a vital role in improving yield and soil health and it’s needed to sell the quality bio-fertilizers at fair prices for the farmers. And, the Chief Minister and party toured around the factory and fulfilled the requirements.
