Providing Foodstuff: Basic foodstuff provided to flood-affected households

The Kayah State Government is stepping up efforts to promote local development, address public needs and improve social well-being.

As part of these efforts, Basic foodstuffs were provided to 29 flood-affected households in Namkut Ward, Loikaw, during a meeting between the Kayah State Government and local residents at Basic Education High School Branch (Namkut) on Friday. Chief Minister U Aunt Maw attended the meeting, together with other concerned officials.

The Chief Minister said the state government was implementing development measures in agriculture, livestock breeding, MSMEs and manufacturing, while addressing priority needs raised by residents. He urged public cooperation in promoting education and preventing online gambling and drug use among young people. Residents also reported their concerns and needs. The Chief Minister coordinated the needs in response to the reports and warmly met the attendees.
