Providing Electrical Appliances: MoC provided household electrical appliances to staffs

The Ministry of Construction held a ceremony to distribute essential household electrical appliances to staff families whose ground floor apartments in the Nay Pyi Taw Council Territory were damaged due to the Mandalay earthquake.

The event took place on July 8, at Meeting Hall of office No. 11 of the Ministry of Construction in Nay Pyi Taw. At the ceremony, the Union Minister U Myo That stated that, following the instructions of the Head of State and utilizing funds from the National Disaster Management Fund, the government is providing support to help affected staff families restore a degree of normalcy in their daily lives.

The support includes the distribution of basic household electrical appliances such as refrigerators, televisions, rice cookers, electric kettles, electric cookers, and electric irons.

Then, the Union Minister, Deputy Ministers, Permanent Secretary, and Director distributed these appliances to 29 affected staff families whose ground floor apartments had been damaged. The items provided include 29 refrigerators, 29 televisions, 29 rice cookers, 29 electric kettles, 29 electric cookers and 29 electric irons. These items were handed over directly to the families in need.
