Providing business equipment: MGY CM provided business equipment

On October 8th, the Magway Region Small Scale Industries Department held a business equipment handover ceremony at the township hall, focusing on project to establish small-scale industries and boost the income of rural families.

The event was attended by Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin and other relevant officials. During the ceremony, the Chief Minister announced the launch of training courses in nine villages to establish small-scale industries and boost rural incomes, starting in the 2023-2024 fiscal year.

Equipments were distributed to 45 who will establish business to support manageable businesses. For the 2024-2025 fiscal year, 16 projects will be implemented across 16 villages in the region. Today’s event also marked the provision of business equipment to 25 trainees from five ongoing projects, he added.

The Chief Minister urged all trainees to effectively use the tools to enhance their incomes and improve community living standards. After the Chief Minister's speech, the Director of the Magway Region Small Scale Industries Department presented a comprehensive report on a project to establish small-scale industries and boost the income of rural families.  

During the ceremony, the Chief Minister and party presented business equipment to trainees. In response, a trainee expressed words of thanks on behalf of all. Afterward, the Chief Minister and party toured the displayed equipment.
