




Union Minister for Health Professor Dr. Thet Khaing Win attended the ceremony of providing foodstuff and cash assistance to the trainees and Chin ethnic people from Nay Pyi Taw Nursing and Midwifery Training School by Nay Pyi Taw Council held in Nursing Training School on Tuesday.
Also present at the occasion were Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo, Deputy Minister for Health Dr. Aye Tun, Nay Pyi Taw Council members, other concerned officials and trainees. Speaking on the occasion, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman highlighted the important role of nurses that they are essential public health workers in the country’s health sector.
He added that basic food supplies were provided for the convenience of trainees during training period. All trainees are urged to strive to become skillful healthcare personnel who can provide the best public healthcare services after training. After that, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman provided essential basic foodstuff for 426 trainees.
This was followed by the provision of cash assistance to 31 Chin ethnic people attending training. And, the Union Minister presented certificate of honor to Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman for generous provision and the principal of training school spoke words of thanks. Then, the Union Minister and party posed for documentary photos together with the trainees and cordially greeted them.
