Providing Assistances: Magwe CM provides foodstuff and cash assistance

Magwe Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin accompanied by region Ministers and the departmental officials attended foodstuff provision ceremony for the security members who are serving the State’s defense and security duties with full strength and cash provision ceremony for the injured and fallen police members while taking the security duties, were held at the General Administration Department in Pokakku Township in the afternoon on 11th of March.

First, the region Chief Minister gave the honorary speech saying the Tatmadaw members in Magwe Region actively assisted in the rescue measures from the front role for day and night when the natural disasters occur in the region and are helping the rehabilitation works with full strength.

In the effective prevention from theterrorists’attacks, for those security members who fulfilled their assigned duties are honored and recognized by the Region Government, he said. Later, provided by the Region Government, the 160 bags of rice, 150 visses of cooking oil, 3,750 packs of instant noodle, 1,440 bottles of Royal-D, 150 visses of potato to the commander of No (101) Light Infantry Division Colonel Myint Shwe, 8.5 million kyats of cash assistance for the injured and fallen police members in Magwe Region to District Police Officer, Deputy Chief of Police Zayya Lin Aung were handed over respectively by the Chief Minister.

Next, the Chief Minister met with the Pokakku District and Township level departmental officials saying security, peace and rule of law are the important tasks for the State and all are urged to cooperate for the regional peace and stability.

And the Economic Affairs Minister U Aung Chain, Social Affairs Minister U Myo Myint and Transportation and Communication Minister U Aung Thu Oo made instructions, Pokaku Disrict and Township level departmental officials reported the encountered situations during the work implementations and on which, the Chief Minister coordinated the needs.

After that, Chief Minister and party inspected Buddha Kone Strand Road at No 1 ward in Pokakku Township, road crossing bridge and implementation of public area and instructed the needs.
