Providing assistance: Taninthayi Region CM provided rice and cooking oil

The occasion of providing rice and cooking oil to the trainees attending the 2nd batch of (6) month long training of Auxiliary midwifery organized by the Taninthayi Region Government was held at the hall of Industrial Training School in Dawei Township in the morning on 12th October with the attendance of Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister U Myat Ko said the training is given to be able to render healthcare for the expectant mothers, lactating mothers and children living in the rural area to some extent. The people in the region, especially the rural population, women and children need the Auxiliary midwives who are the volunteer health personnel to give healthcare and facilitate.

The trainees who are attending the training course are, infect, those who are using time of youth life productively. The region government is providing food and accommodation and manual books. It's needed to be the ones who render healthcare at the native villages.

Next, the region government provided 30 bags of rice and 50 visses of cooking oil and the responsible officials accepted and the Chief Minister cordially greeted the trainees.
