Providing assistance :Taninthayi Region CM provided cash and foodstuff

A ceremony on providing cash assistance and foodstuff to retired police officers was held at the city hall in Dawei Township of Thaninthayi Region on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister U Myat Ko said that Myanmar Police Veteran Association was established by the State Administration Council on 22nd February 2022 and Thaninthayi Region Police Veteran Association is comprised of altogether 126 retired police officers from Myeik, Kawthaung and Dawei Townships.

He also said that members of retired police officers need to cooperate in implementing national development activities, security measures, law enforcement, and prevention of narcotic drugs tasks.

Then, the Chief Minister provided 9 million kyats and foodstuff including rice sacks, cooking oil and eggs to retired police officers and 5 million kyats for Thaninthayi Region Police Force. And, one of the retired police officers expressed words of thanks.
