





Chairman of the Work Committee for Rehabilitation of Livelihoods U Hla Moe made inspection to the flood hit villages in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area on Sunday.
They oversaw the damages of the road connecting the Nay Pyi Taw detour road to Kun Chan Village in Lewe Township, and instructed for speedy restoration of the facility with long term durability. In meeting with local farmers, the Union Minister pledged to make speedy restoration of transportation and water supply facilities as well as replanting of monsoon paddy and other crops and rehabilitation of livelihoods.
During the meeting, sunflower seeds were provided for 72 farmers to replant on 283 acre farmland. The Union Minister then proceeded to Zaung Chan Kone Village and met with the local farmers. Sunflower seeds and natural fertilizer were also provided for 50 farmers to engage cultivation on 121 acre farmland.
