Providing assistance: Relief items & aids transported by Tatmadaw vessels

To provide necessary assistance to cyclone victims in sittway of Rakhine State, the two vessels from Tatmadaw (Navy) transported staffs from the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development, water purifying vehicles, bundles of clothes donated by the local army headquarters in Hpa-an township to Rathaedaung dockyard on Monday morning.

After transporting the items, the vessels were based in Yay Chan Pyin to carry more relief supplies and aids. Moreover, another vessel from Tatmadaw (Navy) transported rice, beans, instant noodles and condensed milk for 965 people of 206 houses in Thaedan village-tract in Kyauk Phyu of Rakhine State and monasteries for the contribution.

Similarly, another more vessel left for Sittwe by carrying a total of more than 114 tones of sawn timbers from Htan Taung Kwin timber jetty in Taungup, Thandwe timber extraction area of Myanma Timber Enterprise (Rakhine State) at the Taungup dockyard.
