Providing Assistance: Paddy species assisted to farmers in Shan State

Shan State Government provided paddy species to replant the damaged paddy fields due to the impact of Typhoon Yagi.

On Saturday, paddy species were provided to 99 farmers from Athone Taw , Narhee and Kakku Villages in Kyauk Talonegyi Township. Chief Minister U Aung Aung attended the ceremony, and coordinated the needs of local farmers. Over 50,000 acre paddy plantations were damaged in Kyauk Talonegyi Township due to inundation, caused by Thphoon Yagi.

The Department of Agriculture made field inspection to assess the damages, and provided inputs for winter crops and summer paddy.
