Providing Assistance: Northern Command Commander visited the Battalion in HsarHmaw

Commander of Northern Command Brigadier General Myat Thet Oo and officials on Friday afternoon went to the local battalion in HsarHmaw of Moe Kaung in Kachin State, that was attacked by KIA and PDF terrorists in the early morning of that day.

The Commander met with the military officers, Tatmadaw men and their family members who fought back the terrorists, and gave instructions. He also provided the foodstuff and other necessary assistance.

About 100 terrorists attacked the local battalion from the northwest area at around 3:00 am, from east of the battalion at around 4:00 am and from No.2 Gate of the battalion at around 4:55 am respectively on Friday morning. After exchange of fire, the terrorists retreated. It is reported that some Tatmadaw men were injured.
