Providing Assistance: Housing for victims of terrorist acts in Kayah State

A ceremony was held in Loikaw on Friday,  to hand over newly built homes to locals and civil servants who lost their homes due to terrorist acts in Kayah State. Kayah State Chief Minister U Sein U highlighted that the government had constructed these homes as part of an effort to restore basic living conditions and provide hope for the affected people.

He emphasized that the government is also supporting local development projects and helping people return to their livelihoods. In the 2025-2026 fiscal year, 50 homes were built, and efforts will continue to build more in the coming years.

Following the ceremony, the Chief Minister and officials visited the newly built homes and inspected ongoing civil servant housing projects.
