








On the morning of November 26, the event of providing agricultural inputs of urea fertilizers and agricultural tractor fuel was held at the meeting hall of the Region Department of Agriculture office, attended by Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw, who delivered the opening address.
First, Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw stated that as their region is one which primarily focuses on agricultural activities, it is necessary for the relevant departments and local farmers to fully collaborate to achieve the targeted acreage for the various crops cultivated annually, including rice, oil crops, and cotton, and to reach the yield targets. He also emphasized the need to strive from multiple perspectives to widely establish agro-based and livestock-based manufacturing industries, leveraging the region's agricultural favorable conditions and good natural resources.
Subsequently, members of the Region Agriculture Supervision Committee explained the current status of the implementation of tasks by the respective departments to achieve the target yields for the 2025-2026 winter crops within the region, as well as the ongoing work that will continue to be carried out.
Following this, the Region Chief Minister and Region Government members distributed inputs of urea fertilizers and agricultural tractor fuel to 300 local farmers from 12 villages in Monwya Township.
Afterwards, the Region Chief Minister addressed the suggestions and presentations made by the event attendees by coordinating with responsible officials to fulfill the requirements and delivered concluding remarks.
Later, the Region Chief Minister and officials observed the distribution of agricultural tractor fuel and cooking oil to the 300 local farmers from the 12 villages in Monwya Township within the office compound.
Then, the Region Chief Minister and responsible officials also inspected the cultivation of kitchen garden crops on the premises, which is for the welfare of the staff serving at the Region Department of Agriculture office and their family members, and coordinated with responsible persons to address necessary requirements.
