Protest in London over soaring energy prices

Thousands of activists gathered across the UK on Saturday to protest against soaring energy prices and the climate crisis. The demonstrations took place in cities including London, Glasgow and Belfast.

They coincided with postal and railway strikes. In London, activists with banners saying "Don't Pay.UK" called for the government to cut energy prices before winter.
