Promotion of Education: Chief Minister Attends Awarding Ceremony, Honourary Lunch

Sagaing Region’s Monywa University of Economics held an awarding ceremony for the academic year of 2022-2023. During the ceremony, Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw stressed that economic sector is important for the development of a country, and business graduates need to make the best use of their acquired knowledge in the relevant ministries in order to make political, economic and policy decisions.
As today is the era of education, it is necessary to strive to become human resources that can contribute to the development of the country by continuously learning knowledge and further education, the Chief Minister added.
This ceremony continued with presenting awards to winners at table tennis, badminton, Sepak Takraw and EIM Fitness Dance competitions, and also in essay writing, article and poem competitions to mark the 75th Anniversary of Martyrs’ Day.
It also included performances by the Monywa University of Economics students and a cash award was presented to the performers. This Ceremony ended with a honourary lunch.
