Promoting socio-economic life: Chin State Govt. & State Level Officials hold meeting

A coordination meeting (4/2022) between the Chin State Government and the State Level Departmental officials was held at the State Government office in Hakha on Tuesday.

At the meeting, Chin State Chief Minister Dr Wong Hsun Htan said that the government provided 10 billion kyats from the national economic promotion fund to carry out effectively the socio-economic life and economy of the people in Chin State.

According to the guidelines of the Head of State, plans must be systematically developed and implemented effectively to use the funds in Quick Win agriculture and livestock breeding tasks and green emerald projects.  He called for the departments to strive for the development of the State.

Officials reported on implementation of 2022-2023 fiscal year project, budget allocation for 2022-2023 FY and progress of works until the 1st 4-month through PowerPoint and the needs. In response to the reports, the State Minister for Security and Border Affairs and the Secretary of the State Government supplemented on the reports and the meeting then ended with a concluding remark by the Chief Minister.
