Promoting Reading Habit: Visiting to SarpayBeikman Library and Book Shop

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn visited SarpayBeikman Library and Book Shop in Kyaukdata Township of Yangon on Thursday.

He viewed the people enjoying reading at the library and buying books at the book shop. About 47,000 of books on 116 various types of books are available at SarpayBeikman Book Shop. In meeting with officials, the Union Minister urged all to carry out the reading habit promotion plan by attracting more people including students.

He stressed the need to materialize the plan in conformity with the current trend of age. The Union Minister urged all to strive for the success of the work process trough capacity building of the staff.
