Myanmar delegation left for China via Yangon on Thursday to participate in the 20th China-ASEAN Expo to be held in Nanning from 16 to 19 September.
The aims of participating in the expo is to promote Myanmar export products, services and investment potentials between business partners in China and ASEAN countries and to get good contacts.
Naw Muta Kapaw ,Director General ,Myanmar Trade Promotion Organization said " Myanmar has participated since the first time. The Ministry of Commerce conducts annually as a focal. China will display 80 booths and about 200 Myanmar entrepreneurs will join. This year, we have proposed Mandalay as the City of Charm. That’s why, we will take business men from Mandalay to share investment potentials in Mandalay."
Aye Sandar Aung ,Pro-rector ,National University of Arts and Culture (Mandalay) said " Myanmar dance entertainments will be staged. We will entertain the dances such as “Come and Visit Mandalar Land”, Myanmar traditional solo and duet dances, the dance performed with Yandanapon song and so on."
The delegation also includes representatives of Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) and its Affiliated or Brother Associations such as Myanmar Pulses, Beans, Maize and Sesame Seeds Merchants Association, Myanmar Fishery Products Processors & Exporters Association and Myanmar Fruit, Flower and Vegetable Producer and Exporter Association and businessmen from Myanmar Gems and Jewelry Entrepreneurs Association.
Soe Win Maung, Advisor, MPBSMA said " We take part in the expo with the aim to penetrate the products of our country such as beans and pluses, corns, sesame into the international markets. Especially, we can promote the export products while meeting with businessmen from China and ASEAN countries."
20th China-ASEAN Expo and 20th China-ASEAN Business and Investment Forum will be held in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in China from 16th to 19th September
