Project Completion Ceremony : MoALI UM delivered opening remarks

In the afternoon, the 17th meeting of the Central Committee for the Management of Vacant, Fallow, and Virgin Lands was held at the meeting hall of the Union Minister's Office, Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation.

At the meeting, Chairman of the Central Committee Union Minister U Min Naung, delivered opening remarks. He stated that utilizing vacant, fallow, and virgin lands to enhance agricultural and livestock production operations will expand the export sector and can materialize national economic development, necessitating dedicated efforts.

In accordance with the duties of the Central Committee, applications for land use rights and permits for agricultural and livestock farming activities will be scrutinized and granted to individuals genuinely intending to undertake the work, among other points. Following this, the Central Committee Secretary presented agenda items for discussion and decision at the meeting. Attendees discussed and deliberated on each matter accordingly, it is reported.
