Project Assignment: Projects for MSME and rural development

Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe on Friday attended the Project Assignment Ceremony at his Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw.

There, in his speech, the Union Minister stressed that for the development of MSME sector, it is necessary to develop the use of technology and innovative activities. It’s found out that the Myanmar’s MSME products cannot compete with products from the MSME sector of other countries for some reasons.

There is a need to produce value-added products based on regional agriculture and livestock raw materials. The Union Minister also called for efforts for the development of MSME sector in the country. And, the Union Minister assigned duties for projects to concerned officials in regions and states.
