Progress Update: Kyauk Phyu SEZ Deep Sea Port Implementation Plan

A work coordination meeting was held on Wednesday to discuss the implementation plan prepared by Myanmar for the Kyauk Phyu Special Economic Zone Deep Sea Port Project.

The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Myanmar Special Economic Zone Central Working Committee, Union Minister for State Administration Council Chairman Office (2) U Aung Naing Oo, Union Minister for Commerce U Tun Ohn, Deputy Minister U Min Min, Chairman, and members of Kyauk Phyu Special Economic Zone, officials from Rakhine State Government, and concerned officials both online and offline. During the meeting, Union Minister U Aung Naing Oo emphasized the importance of the timely completion of the tasks outlined in the Implementation Plan.

He provided instructions for effective coordination and collaboration with the relevant ministries. The attendees engaged in sector-wise discussions to address specific work undertakings related to the project.
