








The Union-level MSME Product Exhibition and Competition opening ceremony was held at the Dabaung Ground of Uppatasanti Pagoda in Naypyitaw in the morning on February 10.
The Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, attended and inaugurated the event. First, the Chairman of the Committee for the Development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises SAC Vice Chairman, Vice Senior General Soe Win, along with Union Ministers U Win Shein, U Min Naung, U Hla Moe, Dr. Charlie Than, Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw, and Naypyitaw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo, cut the ribbon to officially open the Union-level MSME Product Exhibition and Competition.
Following this, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister pressed a button to symbolically open the exhibition and competition.
The SAC Chairman Prime Minister and members enjoyed the dance of honor to the opening ceremony of MSME Products Exhibition and Competition marking the 78th Union Day presented by the ethnic cultural dance groups. After the opening ceremony, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister, accompanied by members, toured the exhibition booths of various ministries, regions, and states. He showed keen interest in the products displayed, asking questions and engaging in discussions before taking a brief break.
In the afternoon, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister, along with officials, continued to visit the remaining exhibition booths. They showed great interest in the displays, offering encouragement and support. They also toured the small-scale industrial and handicraft exhibition booths and cooperative product displays using small buggies.
The Union-level MSME Product Exhibition and Competition is being held at the Uppatasanti Pagoda’s Dabaung Ground in Naypyitaw from February 10 to 14. The event aims to enhance collaboration among MSMEs from different regions and states, strengthen production chains by addressing regional needs, and identify strengths and weaknesses.
The exhibition features 96 booths, including ministry booths, regions and states booths, traditional food stalls, business networking areas, technology displays, international machinery and product booths, and small-scale industrial and handicraft cooperative booths.
The competition will award 31 categories of prizes, including digital trophies, certificates of honor, and cash prizes. Winners will receive their cash prizes through a digital payment system, allowing instant e-banking withdrawals.
