Prize awarding ceremony: Taninthayi CM awarded Championship trophy

Taninthayi Region Chief Minister’s Trophy Inter-Township Men Sepak Takraw final match and prize awarding ceremony was held at Shweweithri Stadium in Dawei Township in the morning on 28th September.

First, the Chief minister and officials enjoyed the final match of Myeik against Boke Pyin Townships’ Teams which concluded Myeik Township Team as winner over Boke Pyin Township Teams.

In the prize awarding ceremony, the region minister for road transportation awarded cash of honor to the Red Cross Unit which provided healthcare along the competition and the region Minister for social affairs awarded individual medal and cash prize to the runner up winner Kyunsu Township in the men-double event.

Region Minister for national resources to the runner up winner Boke Pyin Township Team in Men-Triple event followed awarding first prizes winner of Men-Double and Men-Triple events to the Myeik Township Team by the region minister for security and border affairs and chief justice of region high court with individual medals and cash prizes.

Then, the Chief minister U Myat Ko awarded the Championship Trophy to the first prizes winner of Men-Double and Men-Triple events to the Myeik Township Team.

The winner teams were awarded cash prizes by the region Sports and Physical Education Department as well as the Chair of Region Sepak Takraw Subcommittee U Myat Moe presented half of million Kyat prize.
