Prize awarding ceremony: SAC members awarded prizes in Vovinam competition

The 2023 Regions and States Vovinam competition prize awarding ceremony was held at the WunnaTheiddhi Stadium (A), Nay Pyi Taw in the afternoon on 20th July with the attendance of the members of State Administration Council Daw Dwe Bu, Poe Rel Aung Thein, Dr. Hmu Htan, U Maung Ko, Dr. Aung Kyaw Min, Dr. Kyaw Tun, Khun San Lwin, U Shwe Kyein, U Yan Kyaw, Chairman of Constitutional Tribunal U Thar Htay, Union Ministers, Deputy Ministers and officials.

First, the 2023 Regions and States Vovinam competition final matches of duo (women) display with dagger, woman (single), men (triple) display with weapon which are 65 Kilo (women) and 55 Kilo (Men) were held.

After the displaying events, the Deputy Ministers Daw Nu Mya Zan and Dr. WahWahMaung awarded medals and cash prizes to the first, second and third prize winners of men (55) Kilo and women (55) Kilos. Next, members of State Administration Council, Chairman of State Constitutional Tribunal and the Union Ministers awarded the medals and cash prizes to the respective prize winners.

Finally, the SAC member DawDwe Bu awarded the Men Championship trophy to the Union Territory Nay Pyi Taw and Women Championship trophy to Mandalay Region. After the awarding ceremony, the SAC members cordially greeted the constant athletes.

The 2023 Regions and States Vovinam competition was participated by 13 teams of men and 13 teams of women with a total of 221 athletes from 17th to 20th July.
