Prize awarding ceremony: SAC Chairman awarded championship trophy

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attended the final match of 2024 Inter-Ministerial Universities Football Competition and prize awarding ceremony held at the Wunna Theiddi Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw in the afternoon on September 9 and awarded the prizes. 

The event was attended by SAC Joint-Secretary General Ye Win Oo, SAC members, Union Ministers and Union Level officials, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman, High ranking officials from the office of the Commander In Chief, Deputy Ministers and other concerned officials.

First, the SAC Chairman watched the final match played by the team represented the Ministry of Education and the team of the Ministry of Border Affairs. At the match, the team of the Ministry of Border Affairs secured the champion after beating the team of the Ministry of Education with 1-0.At the prize awarding ceremony, Union ministers Dr. Nyunt Pe and U Ko Ko Hlaing, SAC members U Yan Kyaw, U Shwe Kyein, Khun San Lwin, Dr. Ba Shwe awarded the individual medals and cash of honor to the best players at the places, top goal scorer and the best player along the competition.

SAC members Dr. Hmu Htan, Porel Aung Thein, Daw Dwe Bu awarded the individual medals and cash prize of honor to the fourth prize winner of the team represented the Ministry of Science and Technology, third prize winner of the team of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, second prize winner of the team of the Ministry of Education respectively.

The individual medals were awarded to the first prize winner team represented the Ministry of Border Affairs by SAC Joint-Secretary General Ye Win Oo.

The Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing awarded the cash prize of honor and the championship trophy to the team of the Ministry of Border Affairs. After the prize awarding ceremony, SAC Chairman Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and members cordially greeted the contestant players, it’s learnt.
