Prize awarding ceremony: Bago Region CM awarded prize winners

Bago Region Chief Minister and wife attended the prize awarding ceremony of 2024 Bago Region 25th Silver Jubilee Performing Arts Competition in the morning on September 4.

Speaking on the occasion, Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe encouraged the prize winners in the respective genres who are selected to compete in the national level competition saying that the contestants, while being qualified individuals in their respective artistic fields, are required to align with the evaluation standards and adhere to the dressing, performance, and singing criteria in order to win gold medals at the national level competitions. They are expected to follow the guidance of experts who will provide systematic training and evaluations. From the start of their preparation period until the competition ends, contestants should make every effort to ensure success for the Bago Region at the national level.

Next, the Chief Minister and wife, Chief Justice of the Region High Court, Region Ministers and wives, Region Advocate General and officials awarded the prizes to the artistes, 8 gold medal prize winners and the first, second and third prize winners in the different genres.

Then, the prize winners presented with award winning songs and dances and the Chief Minister and wife rewarded cash of honor, cordially greeted the contestants and provided gifts of local products to the members of judges.
